About this file
This is a Living Wage Certification document related to the Town of Manchester, Connecticut's Automated Traffic Enforcement Safety Devices (ATESD) implementation project. The document serves as a compliance certification requirement for consultants responding to the Town's request for proposals to assist with all aspects of design, engineering, permitting, installation, and implementation of automated traffic enforcement safety devices. The certification ensures that respondents meet the Town's living wage requirements as a condition of contract award and performance.
The living wage certification is a mandatory compliance document that qualified firms must complete and submit as part of their proposal response. Consultants must certify their commitment to paying employees wages that meet or exceed the Town of Manchester's established living wage standards throughout the contract term. This requirement applies regardless of whether the Manchester Board of Directors ultimately adopts a local authorizing ordinance, though the Town reserves the right to terminate the contract upon ten calendar days' written notice if performance is unsatisfactory. The certification protects the Town's interests in ensuring that contract performance meets both labor standards and quality expectations.
