About this file

This document is Addendum 1 for the Lincoln Trail Concession solicitation, issued by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) on August 8, 2025. The addendum updates Section 1.2.1.16 of the original specification, specifically modifying language related to food ware requirements. The updated language mandates that vendors can only use compostable or recyclable food ware and prohibits single-use plastic disposable food service containers and polystyrene foam containers, in compliance with Illinois state statutes 30 ILCS 500/45-23 and 30 ILC 500/45-24.

The addendum instructs bidders to use the updated Invitation for Bid (IFB) on the BidBuy platform when submitting their proposal. For questions, vendors are directed to contact Frederick Murphy via email at Frederick.Murphy@Illinois.gov or by phone at (217) 782-5707. This addendum is part of the broader Lincoln Trail State Park Concession contract, which involves operating a comprehensive concession facility in Marshall, Clinton County, with specific operational requirements, including food service, bait shop, and boat rental services, scheduled to run from April 1 to October 31 annually, with a contract term extending from the Governor's signature through December 31, 2029.
