About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Agriculture for the rental of 80-foot and 60-foot straight manlifts with jibs for the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The requested rental periods are 3 months (July 1, 2018 to September 30, 2018) for the 80-foot manlift and up to 6 months (April 1, 2018 to September 30, 2018) for the 60-foot manlift. Bidders are required to provide the monthly rental price, which must include all transportation, delivery charges, and surcharges. The winning bidder will be selected based on the lowest total bid for all products and services.

The RFQ stipulates that all quoted prices must be valid for 30 days and that no price increases will be accepted. The agency reserves the right to reject any or all offers, to award by item or group, and to waive minor defects. The contract is contingent upon the availability of sufficient funds, and the agency may terminate or suspend the agreement if funds are not appropriated or made available.
