About this file
This document is a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition for the Lift AV2.2+ helmet. The Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) intends to award a sole source contract to Lift Airborne Technologies LLC for the Lift AV2.2+ Next Generation Faceworn Helmet. The authority for the sole source award is based on urgency and the helmet being a brand-name item. No other sources expressed interest in providing the helmet. For future requirements, the Air Force plans to establish an agency-wide contract in 2025 to procure additional helmet needs.
