About this file

This is a Labor and Material Payment Bond document related to a roof replacement and gutter installation project for 1413 Teneyck Street under the City of Jackson Community Development Department in Michigan. The project involves strip and replace roof work and installation of new gutters for a program-qualified homeowner. Competitive sealed bids are being sought from qualified contractors who must have completed SAM.gov registration, possess proper licensing, and obtain all required permits prior to project commencement. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid.

The payment bond ensures that laborers, material suppliers, and other claimants are protected for work performed and materials provided on the project. This bonding requirement is standard for construction projects and guarantees payment obligations will be met by the contractor. Bidders must demonstrate financial capability and bonding capacity to secure this performance and payment bond as a condition of project eligibility.
