About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) seeking quotes for a full assessment of the Environmental Laboratory Certification Program under the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). The assessment is required to be conducted the week of February 3, 2020. Vendors may submit quotes electronically through the state's Bid Buy system or by email to the solicitation contact. The winning responsible vendor will be selected based on the lowest total bid for all products and services. The RFQ provides details on the required services, item quantities, response due date of July 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM CST, and contractual terms such as price validity, shipping and handling, and the agency's right to reject offers or make partial awards.

The RFQ outlines the pricing terms, including that all quoted prices must be valid for 30 days, include shipping and handling, and that price increases will not be accepted. The agreement is contingent upon the availability of sufficient funds, and the agency or the vendor may terminate or suspend the agreement in the event of a funding failure.
