Award will be made to the lowest hourly rate bidder meeting mandatory qualifications, including five years of prior ambulance service experience, appropriate licensing and certifications, and three client references for comparable services. Bidders must maintain firm pricing for one year from contract execution, with subsequent price increases limited to documented cost increases and requiring 60 days' advance notice. All bidders must provide workers who have passed national criminal background checks with no disqualifying convictions, maintain Workers' Compensation insurance at statutory limits and Commercial General Liability coverage of $1,000,000, and add the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System as an additional insured.
