About this file

This document is a Justification for Sole Source / Brand Name Sole Source procurement under Simplified Acquisitions less than $250K. It justifies the requirement for a sole source contract with Skydive Perris to provide a Military Training Facility, including aircraft, drop zone, parachute storage and equipment, and other support services necessary to perform static-line and military free fall parachute operations training for EODGRU ONE.

The key requirements are for aircraft with ramp exit capabilities, a certified drop zone of sufficient size, secure storage for parachutes and equipment, and on-site maintenance and support facilities. Skydive Perris is the only source that can meet all these specialized requirements. The total estimated cost is $94,820. The required delivery date is August 1, 2024. The contracting officer has concurred with the sole source justification.
