The Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) requires aeronautical charting and mapping services that will provide current and accurate navigational flight data, in electronic format, to perform pre-flight planning and airborne operations.

Boeing Digital Solutions dba Jeppesen Sanderson is the sole provider of the navigational flight data meeting JPATS' operational requirements.
JPATS' pilots are fully trained in the use of this data, which will eliminate any retraining costs or time involved transitioning to a new format. The software is proprietary and cannot be purchased, maintained or edited by any other source.
5. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted:
A notice of intent was posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) on August 18, 2020. To date, no sources have expressed any interest in response to the notice.
