About this file
This Scope of Work document outlines repair and parts services for John Deere Heavy Equipment required by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Southwest District. MoDOT seeks an authorized John Deere dealer to provide repair services and sell John Deere brand parts on an as-needed basis for the District's existing heavy equipment inventory, including wheel loaders, backhoes, and motor graders located throughout the region. The contract period extends from the Date of Award through September 30, 2028, with three one-year renewal options available. Bidders must be authorized John Deere dealers capable of selling parts directly to MoDOT and located within a reasonable service area of the Southwest District. No site visits, bidder meetings, or specific response dates are mentioned in this document.
Pricing will be structured with manufacturer parts offered at a percentage discount off Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and labor billed at a fixed hourly rate. All repair work must be performed by authorized John Deere dealership technicians using manufacturer parts, with machinery delivered to the dealer's location for service and picked up upon completion. No work may commence without a Purchase Order number assigned by authorized MoDOT personnel. The dealer must provide progress updates and obtain approval for any issues that arise during the repair process. Invoices should be submitted to SWInvoices@modot.mo.gov with Net 30 payment terms. Work completion requires approval from qualified MoDOT employees. The contact for this solicitation (MODOT SW 0000000047SL) is Lyndi Christy, Senior General Services Specialist, at (417) 689-3544.
