About this file

This document is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), a state agency in Massachusetts, for the purchase and delivery of two John Deere Gator TE utility vehicles. The RFQ requires interested vendors to submit quotes that include specifications, delivery dates, and prompt payment discounts by December 23, 2020. The purchased equipment must be delivered to two DCR locations in Massachusetts. This RFQ does not commit DCR to approving a Statement of Work, paying costs associated with responding to the RFQ, or engaging for the requested products and services. DCR reserves the right to accept or reject any and all quotes received, and to contract for some, all, or none of the identified products and services.

Pricing terms indicate this will be a single contract from a pre-qualified list of contractors, with the vendor being paid upon delivery of the two gators. DCR is responsible for encumbering sufficient funds for the project, and vendors are requested to include any prompt payment discounts in their responses. The RFQ states that DCR makes no guarantee that any commodities or services will be purchased from any resulting contract, and funding is conditioned upon available funding.
