About this file
This Justification and Approval (J&A) document is for a sole-source contract with ScriptPro for the Indian Health Service (IHS) in 2025, with a total estimated value of $195,714.88. The contract covers continued lease of updated ScriptPro peripheral equipment, maintenance of leased equipment and SP200 robot, project management and service support, and a Windows 11 upgrade. The agency is using FAR 6.302-1 authority, justifying the sole-source procurement due to ScriptPro's exclusive ownership of proprietary equipment and technical capabilities that cannot be replicated by other vendors.
The procurement is a continuation of a previous contract (75H70520F80052) that ran from 09/01/2020 to 08/31/2025, with the facility already owning the SP200 robot and server and leasing workstations. The contract will be firm-fixed price, and the agency determined that no competitive actions could be taken due to the proprietary nature of the SP robot. ScriptPro is located in Mission, Kansas, and was identified as the only company capable of providing the required service for this specific technological system.
