E-Verify Compliance U.S. law requires companies to employ only individuals who may legally work in the United States
– either U.S. citizens, or foreign citizens who have the necessary authorization. This diverse workforce contributes greatly to the vibrancy and strength of our economy, but that same strength also attracts unauthorized employment.
E-Verify is an Internet-based system that allows businesses to determine the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States. E-Verify is fast, free and easy to use – and it’s the best way employers can ensure a legal workforce. The attached Contractor / Subcontractor Affidavits must accompany proposal submission.
Authority to Enter into Contract The Contractor represents and warrants that it has full authority to enter into the Contract and that it has not granted and will not grant any right or interest to any person or entity that might derogate, encumber or interfere with the rights granted to the State.
Independent Contractor The employees, officers and agents of the Vendor are not, nor shall they be, deemed for any purpose, employees or agents of the Camden County Board of Commissioners nor are they entitled to any rights, benefits, or privileges of CCBOC employees. It is understood that the relationship of the Vendor to the Camden County Board of Commissioners will be that of an independent contractor.

B. A copy of the bond and insurance must be submitted with your bid.

Each employee shall have a background check completed at the expense of the Contractor. Copies of each successful background check shall be provided to the Purchasing Officer to be kept on file. The Camden County Board of Commissioners has unique needs and requires that all facilities be cleaned and maintained at a level of quality commensurate with the highest standards of professional janitorial services.
