About this file

This document outlines specifications for decommissioning wastewater treatment facilities at the Norway Beach Recreation Area in Minnesota. The project involves demolishing three buildings, decommissioning three wastewater lagoon cells, sealing or removing collection system structures, and decommissioning additional treatment area structures. It also includes electrical work, earthwork, and site restoration activities. Bidding contractors will be evaluated on their technical qualifications and price to complete all base bid items, with optional bid items potentially being awarded based on available funding. The Forest Service will oversee the work and make monthly progress payments based on approved estimates. The selected contractor must follow specifications for surveying, quality control, traffic control, health and safety protocols, and closeout procedures including record submittals and waste disposal documentation.

D. Record survey and measurement field data in an approved format. Submit as-staked data and corrections made to the Government-furnished survey data. Submit survey and measurement data at least weekly. Field data and supporting documentation become the property of the Government upon completion of the work.
