About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for the preventative maintenance and inspection of EZ Way patient lifts. The RFQ requests parts and labor to complete annual and semi-annual inspections of 39 patient lifts, including 31 floor lifts, 6 shower chairs, and 2 overhead lifts. The RFQ provides details on the inspection and repair requirements, and states that the use of a brand name is for describing the standard of quality and is not intended to limit competition. The RFQ also includes COVID-19 protection requirements and guidance on submitting quotes through the BidBuy system.

The RFQ specifies that all quoted prices must be valid for 90 days, include shipping and handling charges, and that no price increases will be accepted. The agency reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or group, and waive minor defects. The winning vendor will be chosen based on the lowest total bid for all products.
