About this file
This is an Emergency Purchase Statement from the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs for the Illinois Veterans Home at Manteno (IVHM), documenting an emergency procurement for medical director services. The facility, located at One Veterans Drive in Manteno, Illinois, requires continuous medical director coverage for the period of October 1, 2026, through December 30, 2026. The emergency purchase justifies expedited procurement procedures due to the critical need for medical leadership and oversight at the veterans facility during this specified timeframe.
The document establishes the necessity for emergency contracting procedures based on the urgent operational requirements of the facility and provides authorization for the procurement to proceed outside standard bidding timelines. The statement supports the appointment or engagement of a qualified medical director to fulfill essential administrative, clinical, and regulatory responsibilities at the facility during the three-month contract period.
