About this file

This document is an appendix to a state and local contract opportunity issued by the Illinois government for the replacement of boiler exhaust stacks at a facility. The work includes the removal of the existing 30-linear foot boiler exhaust stacks, fabrication of new 16-inch diameter carbon steel stacks, and installation of the new stacks. The new stacks must be fitted with a rain cap, pipe flanges, and a square-to-round transition above the roof, and must be wrapped in mineral wool insulation. All work must be coordinated with the facility's Chief Engineer and completed during normal business hours. The contract requires a minimum 1-year warranty on all parts and labor.

The pricing terms are not specified, but the contract opportunity indicates that the vendor must provide all materials and tools required for the project. There are no mentions of set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient financial details.
