About this file

This document is an Item Description and Required Specifications for a Hyperspectral Imaging System, specifically for the Dugway Proving Ground, issued under solicitation W911S6-25-Q-A011 by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood. The primary item is the Hyper-Cam-XLW Mini Compact infrared hyperspectral imaging system (CLIN 0001), a remote sensing instrument designed for detecting, identifying, and quantifying spectral signatures of gaseous clouds and solid samples.

The solicitation includes multiple contract line items (CLINs) covering the core system and accessories: a Wide Angle Telescope (CLIN 0002), Power and Data Cable Set (CLIN 0003), Detection and Identification Plug-In (CLIN 0004), Remote Support (CLIN 0005), and a Preventative Maintenance Plan (CLIN 0006). The system features a 320 x 256 pixel Stirling-cooled detector, user-selectable spectral resolution, and operates between -10 to +50°C. Deliverables include the optical head, control processing box, calibration sources, software suite, GPS antenna, tripod mount, Toughbook computer, transport cases, and a 2-day training session. The procurement is described as a sole-source requirement for one hyperspectral imaging system capable of operating in field conditions from 20 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
