About this file
I apologize, but I cannot fully summarize the document as the file content is not provided in the context. Only the filename and a general contract opportunity description are present. To provide an accurate summary, I would need the actual contents of the ITB_S-DASOBO-00012005_OLCC Stockpickers_CLARIFICATIONS.pdf file. The available information indicates this is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Electronic Stock Pickers for the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC), solicited through the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, State Procurement Services. However, without the specific file contents, I cannot generate a comprehensive two-paragraph summary of its details.

REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION DOCUMENT
QUESTION ANSWER
1. Under the capacity table, it mentions that forks must be a slide adjustment with no tools required to change pins. Raymond offers three adjustments for our forks, but tools are required, is this still acceptable for this bid?
YES – THIS IS ACCEPTABLE
2. Under the mast table, a 105" collapsed height, 3-stage mast, and 300" elevated height is referenced.
Based on that collapsed height and mast configuration, I don't believe that elevated height is possible.
Raymond offers a 127" collapsed height in order to reach an elevated height of 300". Is that configuration acceptable for this bid?
THE COLLAPSED HEIGHT OF THE MEAST
IS NO LONGER A CONCERN FOR THESE
NEWER LIFTS. THE HIGHER 127” (OR
MORE) WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE
3. Under the dimensions table, we offer an operator platform of 28.5" x 39", will this work? Based on the height, you mentioned 105" being the highest point of the truck. With the configuration mentioned above our height point would be the mast at 127" with the overhead guard being at 85", is this acceptable?
Lastly, our turning radius is 72" instead of 68", will this work?
HEIGHT IS ACCEPTABLE
TURNING RADIOUS IS ACCEPTABLE
4. Under the safety/convenience features table, under steering, it mentions non-centering. The only time our units automatically center is at start-up, will that be acceptable? Lastly, under operator features, an adjustable console is
CENTERING AT START-UP IS ACCEPTABLE
BID WITHOUT ADJUSTABLE CONSOLE IS
ACCEPTABLE
mentioned. Raymond does not offer an adjustable console on our order pickers. Is it ok, to bid without these features?
5. Under the battery table, there is no mention of any chargers. Are you looking for chargers as well for these units? If so, what is phase and voltage that you're needing?
WE WILL NEED BATTERIES AND
CHARGERS 3-PHASE, 480V
6. Under the lights table, it mentions two dome lights mounted on each side of the overhead guard. We offer a led light bar that extends across the entire width of the overhead guard, will that work for your application?
ACCEPTABLE
7. I know the bid mentions a 300" elevated height. Do you know what the top beam level is of the racking that the operators will be picking from? When we bid on the racking for the new OLCC facility, we had racking that exceeded 300".
WE WILL NOT BE USING ORDER PICKERS
FOR THE UPPER LEVEL. THE HIGHEST
LEVEL WE MAY EVER USE ORDER
PICKERS FOR WOULD BE AROUND 256”
(4TH LEVEL)
8. Will these order pickers need to have wire guidance? Can you provide the width of the aisles that these units will be operating in?
NO WIRE GUIDANCE CANNOT GIVE ISLE
MEASUREMENTS AT THIS TIME, AS THESE
PICKERS WILL BE USED IN A NOT YET
COMPLETED WAREHOUSE
