About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB #26024) issued by the City of Santa Fe's Central Purchasing Division (CPD) for rebuilding and rehabilitating two 2-meter Andritz belt filter presses used in sewage sludge dewatering operations. The procurement requires a specialized contractor to provide two factory-trained Andritz service technicians who will perform a comprehensive 15-day on-site equipment overhaul, including 5 days for disassembly and 10 days for reassembly and system checks. Bids are due electronically through Munis Bid Central on September 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM MDT, with the contract term spanning one year from the final signature date. The project involves comprehensive replacement or restoration of critical components, including rollers, bearing housings, seals, belts, and hydraulic elements.
The bid includes line items for lump sum rebuilding, individual component pricing, and a discount option for additional parts needed during rehabilitation. All parts and lubricants must be original equipment manufacturer (OEM) compliant, with aftermarket or generic parts explicitly prohibited. The City will handle site preparation, including utility disconnections, power washing, and obstacle removal, while the contractor manages shipping costs and technical implementation. The existing infrastructure consists of three Andritz belt filter presses, with two scheduled for complete rehabilitation. Pricing will be evaluated based on the submitted unit prices and lump sum costs, with the City reserving the right to award the entire bid, groups, individual items, or combinations that best serve the city's interests.
