About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Idaho Division of Purchasing (DOP) on behalf of the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) for the as-needed purchase and delivery of multiple class street sweepers. The ITB outlines the specifications for the sweepers, which include requirements for the truck chassis, engine, transmission, axles, brakes, cab, electrical systems, water system, and emergency lighting. The ITD is seeking bids for an initial one-year contract, with the potential for up to five years of renewals. Bids must be submitted electronically via the IPRO electronic procurement system by the specified closing date.
The ITB requires bidders to provide a fully-burdened total cost on the provided bid schedule, which must include all operating and personnel expenses, such as overhead, salaries, administrative expenses, delivery, training, travel, profit, and supplies. The award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder with the lowest cost, or in the best interest of the state. The ITD will inspect the delivered sweepers and provide acceptance within 14 calendar days, unless any discrepancies are identified, in which case the contractor must correct the issues and re-deliver at their own expense.
