About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) released by Multnomah County for On-Call Pump Maintenance and Repair Services. The County is seeking contractors to perform pump maintenance and repair services in County buildings, primarily for boilers, chillers, sumps, and sewer systems. The ITB is open from August 30, 2024 to October 1, 2024, with an optional virtual pre-bid conference scheduled for September 5, 2024. Contractors must submit bids electronically, and the County intends to award multiple contracts to the lowest bidders who meet the minimum requirements. The contract term is for a maximum of 5 years.

The ITB specifies that prevailing wage rates apply to on-site work, and contractors must comply with all relevant regulations. Pricing adjustments are limited to a single request per 12-month period, not to exceed the lesser of the CPI-U or 3%. No bid bond, performance, or payment bonds are required. The County may extend the contract terms, conditions, and prices to other public agencies through cooperative purchasing. Contractors must complete and submit the required attachments, including the Sample Project Rate Sheet and Cooperative Purchasing Vendor Agreement.
