About this file
This document is an Addendum #2 for Invitation to Bid (ITB-25-1) issued by the Canaveral Port Authority for the Cruise Terminal 5 Marine Improvements project. The addendum, dated June 5, 2025, modifies the original bidding documents and updates key submission details, including changing the bid submission deadline to July 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Maritime Purchasing Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The project involves marine infrastructure improvements, including demolition work, new construction of pier elements, and various marine-related installations such as monopile dolphins, mooring bollards, fenders, catwalk modifications, and a solar-powered lighting system.
The proposal breakdown table details the project scope with specific quantities for various components, including 1 lump sum for mobilization/demobilization, utility locates, survey work, and dive inspections, along with specific quantities for new construction elements like 5 monopile dolphins, 8 mooring bollards, and 3 fenders. Additional scope includes repairs and a lighting system, covering 150 linear feet of curbs, 200 linear feet of deck, 15 fender wear strips, and a complete solar-powered lighting system. The document is part of a competitive bidding process, with bidders required to acknowledge the addendum on their bid form, and failure to do so may result in disqualification.
