About this file

This is an Addendum (Number Three) from the Alaska Department of Corrections, Division of Administrative Services, for the WWCC Building 10 Sewer Lift Station Replacement, Phase 1 Electrical Upgrades project located at Wildwood Correctional Center in Kenai, Alaska. The project number is 240002935-2, and the Invitation to Bid (ITB) deadline has been updated to September 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Drawings are available upon request by contacting Michael Lim via email. The addendum modifies original drawings and specifications, with changes primarily focused on electrical system upgrades, including demolition and replacement of various electrical panels, feeders, and branch circuits.

The addendum addresses specific technical questions from potential contractors regarding electrical system modifications. Key points include: the facility will remain occupied and operational throughout construction, requiring careful coordination with Department of Corrections personnel; contractors must submit and obtain written approval for a project work plan demonstrating how construction will be completed while maintaining facility use and occupancy; and connected loads in Panels C and EM will be disconnected, protected, and reconnected to a new distribution panel. Air Compressors 1 & 2 are noted as being outside the current project scope, and the space previously occupied by Panels C and EM will be reserved for a new distribution panel.
