About this file

This document is Addendum Number 2 to Invitation to Bid (ITB) #24-018 issued by the City of Sandy Springs, Georgia for a Safe Streets and Roads for All Safety Action Plan Traffic Counts project. The addendum provides answers to questions received from prospective bidders, including clarification that speed data is not required as a deliverable and that cameras can be used instead of traffic tubes to record the required 48-hour traffic volume counts. The addendum also confirms that a performance bond is not required, and the City's evaluation will be based on compliance with the bidding instructions as well as the provided references and cost. The bid due date has been updated from October 13, 2023 to October 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

The City currently does not have a vendor under contract for the required traffic counts, and there are no incumbent pricing details to share. Bidders can use either traffic tubes or cameras to perform the volume-only counts, as speed and vehicle classification data are not required. The City is not interested in the vendor conducting near-miss analysis as part of this effort.

Answer: No.

Answer: A plan holders is provided in the public files.
