About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 to Solicitation No. FDVA-ITB-24-002B issued by the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs (FDVA) for the Jacobson Nurse Call System project. The addendum clarifies and revises the requirements of the solicitation, including that the system must be a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution hosted in the cloud, with specific availability, security, and data management requirements. The project involves the removal of the existing analog nurse call system equipment and wiring, and the design, installation, and training for a new nurse call system utilizing Cat 6 Plenum structured wiring. Bids are due by 3:00 PM local time on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, and must be delivered to the FDVA Purchasing Specialist.
The addendum also addresses vendor questions related to IT department requirements, security protocols, and battery backup systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing the required equipment and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Annual data center audits and security assessments will be required, and the contractor will be liable for any security breach costs.
