About this file

This document is an Addendum to Invitation to Bid (ITB) 24-0002 issued by the City of Oxford, Georgia. The Addendum provides responses to questions received from potential bidders regarding various aspects of the project, including the use of liquid anti-stripping additive, tack coat materials, reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) content, patching widths, milling depths, manhole riser extensions, and the scope of work for specific road segments.

The project involves resurfacing work on multiple streets within the City of Oxford, including milling, patching, and the application of an open-graded course (OGC) interlayer and a 9.5mm Type II asphalt topping. The Addendum clarifies that the milling depths and quantities provided in Appendix A are for informational purposes only and may vary based on field conditions. The city also confirms that shoulder rehabilitation work is intended to build the shoulder back up to the new asphalt surface, with an average width of less than one foot.
