About this file

The document is a comprehensive project manual for the New Classroom Renovations for Wilbur Wright School, issued by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District under Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 21425. The project involves a comprehensive renovation of an art room and associated spaces at Wilbur Wright School, located at 11005 Parkhurst Drive in Cleveland, Ohio. The renovation includes selective demolition, new interior finishes, casework, electrical and technology upgrades, HVAC modifications, and plumbing work. The project scope encompasses approximately 1,004 square feet, including an art room, kiln room, and art supplies storage area. The renovation will include installing new flooring, wall treatments, acoustic ceiling tiles, lighting, electrical systems, technology infrastructure, and specialized casework for art instruction.

The project is funded through the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and will require a comprehensive, multi-trade approach. The bid documents include detailed specifications across multiple divisions, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and technology systems. Bidders will need to provide unit pricing, comply with local building codes, and demonstrate capability to complete a complex educational facility renovation. The project manual indicates a July 2025 timeframe and includes extensive technical specifications for materials, installation methods, and quality assurance requirements. Contractors will need to provide comprehensive submittals, including shop drawings, product data, and demonstrate compliance with specific performance standards and installation requirements across architectural, mechanical, electrical, and technology systems.
