About this file
This document is an Addendum to Invitation to Bid (ITB) #21/22-006 issued by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) in the state of Florida. The ITB is for the purchase and installation of a new freezer system at the Sunland Center, which serves 186 developmentally disabled residents across 15 living units on over 500 acres. The addendum provides responses to vendor questions regarding the electrical panel, breakage amperage, redundancy requirements, and the use of existing refrigeration and electrical systems. It also confirms that a plan holders list is not available and that the agency does not have an estimated construction budget for the project.
The new freezer system must be capable of maintaining temperatures between 0 and -15 degrees Fahrenheit. The vendor will be responsible for installing new electrical conductors and breakers, while the existing conduit can be reused. If the existing electrical circuit is not large enough, the vendor will be responsible for upgrading it. No further addenda have been issued at this time, and the agency does not require a redundant system.
