About this file
This is Amendment 5 to ITB #2027-1200-0095 issued by the State of Alaska Department of Public Safety Aircraft Section for comprehensive scheduled inspection, overhaul, maintenance, and return-to-service work on two Airbus AS350B3 helicopters designated N911NT (S/N 7665) and N911AA (S/N 7536). The amendment extends the bid due date to October 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Alaska Time, with final questions required no later than October 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The solicitation permits multiple maintenance events to accomplish the required work, with scheduling coordinated between the successful bidder and the Aircraft Maintenance Inspectors. Bidders must sign and return the amendment cover page with their submission, or risk bid rejection.
The amendment clarifies that AS350B3 components may be provided on an exchange basis through a Lower-48 overhaul facility, provided replacement components are supplied with zero-time since overhaul and total time equal to or less than the aircraft's total time, with returned units meeting core-return requirements. All bids must be submitted electronically to dps.das.solicitations@alaska.gov, with virtual public bid opening available upon request to the procurement officer. Offerors who received this solicitation through the State's Online Public Notice website must register with the Procurement Officer, Rachelle Alger, to receive notification of subsequent amendments, as failure to do so may result in offer rejection.
