About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2024.12 issued by the City of Milton Purchasing Department in Florida, addressing the Cedar Ridge Sanitary Sewer Repairs project. The addendum provides responses to six specific questions from potential bidders, clarifying key details about the bid process. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond equal to 5% of their total bid amount, and each bid must remain valid for 90 days after opening. The City of Milton requires physical submission of proposals to their Purchasing Department at 6738 Dixon Street, Milton, FL 32570.

The addendum confirms that the project does not require Davis-Bacon wages, though contractors may need to complete a project employment and local impact report detailing workforce information. Bidders should include taxes in their proposals, with the City reserving the right to utilize tax exemptions. Notably, no estimated construction budget was provided, and specifications are referenced as being included in the original bid solicitation. Proposers are instructed to sign and return the addendum with their proposal package, acknowledging receipt and understanding of the additional information and potential modifications to the original bid requirements.
