About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for an Invitation to Bid (ITB 2022-1) issued for the Dallas Community School Tenant Improvement Project, which involves interior and parking reconstruction work. The project requires substantial completion by August 15, 2022, as specified in Section 3.3.1 of the A101-2017 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor. While specific anticipated construction start dates are not detailed in the Q&A document, the deadline for project completion establishes the critical timeline for bidders.

The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, as referenced in Section E of the Solicitation and Section 1(p) of Amendment #1 to the Standard Form of Agreement, indicating union labor considerations are applicable. The estimated project value has not been disclosed by the agency prior to bid submission. Bidders should note that internal cost estimates are withheld from public disclosure during the solicitation period to maintain competitive bidding integrity.
