About this file
This is an Iranian Investment Disclosure certification document required by New York State General Municipal Law Section 103-g for bidders on state and local contracts in New York. The certification applies to the Wheel Alignment Services contract opportunity (Prior Bid #2024F-11) in New York.
By submitting a bid, each bidder must certify under penalty of perjury that it is not on the list of entities created pursuant to New York State Finance Law Section 165-a that identifies companies with investment activities in Iran. If a bidder cannot make this certification, it must provide a signed statement explaining the reasons for non-compliance. The purchasing unit may award a bid to a non-compliant bidder on a case-by-case basis only if: (1) the Iran investment activities occurred before April 12, 2012, have not been expanded or renewed since that date, and the bidder has adopted and is implementing a formal plan to cease such investments; or (2) the political subdivision determines in writing that the goods or services are necessary for its operations and cannot otherwise be obtained. The certification must be signed by an authorized company representative and submitted with the bid proposal.
