About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) form submitted to the State of Illinois, specifically referencing solicitation number 27-422DNR-LNDMG-B-53964 for Region 3 Articulating Boom Lift equipment. The document serves as the formal bid submission template that vendors must complete to offer products or services to the State of Illinois. The solicitation requires bidders to submit all required documentation as outlined in Section A.1 of the solicitation document, with failure to meet requirements resulting in disqualification. Bidders must clearly identify their company information and authorized representative signature, along with the date of submission.
The IFB form addresses several key bidding considerations including Illinois-specific preferences available under the Illinois Procurement Code, such as the Illinois Business Preference and Domestic Product Preference, which vendors may claim by providing appropriate documentation or product designations. Bidders that wish to take exception to the Standard Terms and Conditions must submit a redlined version of those terms with their offer, subject to State acceptance or rejection. The document references the State's standard terms and conditions available at https://cpo-general.illinois.gov/solicitation-and-contract-templates.html, which will become part of any resulting contract. By submitting the completed bid form with an authorized signature, the bidder makes a binding offer to the State of Illinois that the State may accept to establish contractual obligations.
