About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid document issued by the State of Illinois for the procurement of passenger and school buses through a rebid process (B-50675). The solicitation seeks 66-passenger and 72-passenger buses for ISD 66. The document establishes the formal bidding framework and requires bidders to submit complete responses in compliance with all stated requirements, with failure to meet specifications resulting in disqualification.

The solicitation incorporates the State of Illinois Standard Terms and Conditions, which bidders must accept or formally redline with documented exceptions for state consideration. Bidders may claim applicable Illinois Procurement Code preferences, including the Illinois Business Preference (requiring completion of an affidavit) and the Domestic Product Preference (requiring notation in line item descriptions). The document emphasizes that authorized bidder representatives must sign the submission to constitute a valid bid offer to the state, and interested parties should reference Section A.1 for required documentation before submission.
