About this file

This document is the Price Proposal Form for RFP #S-63500-00010408 issued by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for Gear Modification Research to Reduce Bycatch in the Shrimp Trawl Fishery. The RFP seeks to charter one ocean shrimp trawl vessel to participate in research evaluating adjustments to the height of the trawl net off the seafloor to improve bycatch reduction for eulachon and other fish. The research project requires 8 sample days between June 1, 2024 and August 31, 2024, ideally split between two 4-day research cruises.

The Price Proposal Form requires proposers to submit a total proposed price per day and for the 8 sample days, including all costs for materials, equipment, labor, and work outlined in the RFP. Proposers may also include separate pricing for port call days, mobilization, and demobilization, if necessary. ODFW reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of sample days, with the total price being adjusted accordingly by the per day rate. The agency will not pay any costs above the total proposed price submitted by the selected proposer.
