About this file
This document provides changes to a solicitation for the Army Green Service Uniform Women's Coat. The changes include adding references to toxicity testing standards in the Modified Draize Procedure and requirements that chemicals recognized as human carcinogens not be used. Toxicity testing is required and must demonstrate compatibility with prolonged direct skin contact through an acute dermal irritation study, skin sensitization study, and Repeat Insult Patch Test. The solicitation seeks this women's coat from the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Clothing and Textiles and involves adding paragraphs on toxicity testing to the product requirements and evaluation sections.
