About this file
This document contains a pre-solicitation notice and slides from an industry day outlining details for an upcoming firm-fixed-price construction contract. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District will issue solicitation W912QR20R0069 in June 2020 for the addition and alteration of a maintenance hangar at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. The project scope involves expanding an existing hangar and making structural upgrades at an estimated cost between $10-25 million. The performance period is 540 calendar days from award. The acquisition will utilize full and open competition with the HUBZone price preference applicable. Proposals will be evaluated on a best value tradeoff basis considering past performance, technical approach, and price factors. The Government intends to make award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct discussions if in its best interest. The pre-solicitation, slides, and final solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov. An optional site visit is scheduled for July 2020 with details in the forthcoming solicitation. The point of contact is listed.
