About this file

The document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) for an Industry Day event focused on Contractor Provided Shuttle Bus Services. The event is scheduled for August 14, 2024, at 10:00am in the GOAA Annex Building's Gemini Conference Room, with the purpose of gathering insights from transportation companies capable of providing a fleet of at least 60 buses to manage airport busing operations. The Industry Day is a non-binding information-gathering session designed to assess the feasibility of a future solicitation for shuttle bus services, with transportation needs covering the airport complex, Brightline Train Station, terminals, and long-term parking lots.

The document emphasizes that this is an informational event, not a formal solicitation, and participation is voluntary. No pricing information is to be provided, and attendance does not guarantee any advantage in future procurement processes. Interested parties are required to RSVP to shuttlebus@goaa.org, and the project was initially released on July 25, 2024. The primary contact for the event is Andy Farrington, Procurement Agent III, who can be reached at andy.farrington@goaa.org or (407) 825-2296. The Aviation Authority's goal is to explore operational, insurance, and maintenance requirements to establish high service standards for passenger transportation.
