About this file

This document is an Industry Day agenda and ground rules for the FDA's Contact Center Optimization Project, held on February 23, 2026. The event is hosted by the FDA's Office of Operations and includes check-in from 8:00-9:15 A.M., welcome remarks and FDA panel introductions from 9:30-10:00 A.M., a project overview covering objectives and goals from 10:00-10:30 A.M., a general Q&A session from 10:45 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., and vendor networking from 12:00-1:00 P.M.

The ground rules establish that vendors must identify themselves before asking questions, with one follow-up question permitted if time allows. Each Q&A exchange is limited to 2-3 minutes combined, and the FDA facilitator may cut off questions if necessary. The government will not answer questions regarding proprietary information, award promises, preferred vendors, detailed source selection criteria, or budget-sensitive information. Responses provided during the Industry Day are not official answers; only written responses submitted through proper channels are binding. The FDA will determine which questions can be answered immediately versus those requiring written follow-up and reserves the right to decline inappropriate or out-of-scope questions. All questions and answers will be shared with attendees through post-event summaries or real-time updates, and the session will be recorded and transcribed. Q&A content may be incorporated into a Frequently Asked Questions document. The document includes a disclaimer that the Industry Day is for planning and information-gathering purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government.
