About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity IHS1520271, a pharmacist services contract with the Indian Health Service (IHS) at Tsaile Health Center in the Navajo IHS areas. The Q&A clarifies solicitation and Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements following contractor inquiries regarding contract scope, pricing, and performance expectations.

Key clarifications include: the primary place of performance is Tsaile Health Center with potential assignment to other Navajo IHS healthcare facilities as directed; the period of performance follows solicitation or contract dates (base period plus option years); government furnished quarters are available at approximately $475/month; the contract requires a Board Certified pharmacist and remains a Firm-Fixed Price contract with full pricing breakdown submissions required; the DEA license requirement and emergency medicine-specific references have been removed; clinic operating hours, work schedules, and specialty requirements are defined in the revised PWS; this is a new requirement (not an existing contract); current staffing at Tsaile Health Center includes 3-4 other pharmacists; and the base period is funded. An extension was granted to allow bidders to review government responses for recruitment and accurate pricing purposes. The document confirms that Cover Page, Cover Letter, and Table of Contents are excluded from page counts, Section 9.0 (Performance-based Matrix) is not valid, and file submissions should not exceed 8GB via email.
