About this file

This document is a set of vendor questions related to a federal solicitation for a digital radiographic X-ray system for the Clinton Indian Health Center. The questions cover technical specifications such as the requirement to use existing Unistrut, the tube touchscreen display size, detector specifications, and system automation levels. Key details include confirmation that the system needs two digital detectors, cannot reduce the touchscreen to 10", must use dual energy subtraction, and requires automated detector/tube tracking. The document also includes logistical information about a site visit on August 4 at 10 AM, the current system's serial number (11385), and the date of the last tube change (1/2025). The facility has on-site biomedical staff and will require a new service contract for the X-ray system.

Questions:

• 2.1.1.1. Must the system use existing Unistrut? This will limit other vendors from bidding. Yes

• 2.1.1.2. Can we reduce the tube touchscreen display to 10” to open up to more vendors? No

• 2.3.1.6. Does it have to be a Flashpad detector? A flashpad detector is specific to one vendor, this is a lockout spec to all other vendors. It doesn't necessarily have to be Flashpad, as long as it meets the minimum specifications required for Flashpad, including weight capacity, wireless capability, and detector dimensions.

• 2.3.1.7. Please clarify how many digital detectors you are seeking on the system. Two or three? 2

• 2.4.1.1. Can dual energy subtraction be optional to open up to more vendors? No

• 2.4.1.2. There are multiple levels of automation, are you wanting a system that is fully robotic with self-positioning? No Or are you seeking automated movements like detector / tube tracking? Yes

• Can you provide the serial number and date if install of the equipment being traded-in?

serial number. 11385

• Can you provide the date of last tube change if any? 1/2025

• Can you provide some pictures of the unit and the workstation? Include a picture of the sticker with the Serial, date manufactured and model number usually on the back of the Tube arm. Kindly take any pictures permitted by Ronay during the scheduled walkthrough.

• Do you have on-site biomed or is this not required, and, in the future, you will sign a service contract for the new system? Yes, we have on-site biomed and yes for new service contract.

• Could we have a walk-through of the room and do you have AutoCAD drawings of the room that can be provided? Schedule with Ronay, ask area engineering if they can provider AutoCAD drawings for room.
