About this file
This document is a Notice of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The purpose of this notice is to purchase sales and business promotion activities from Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA) USA, Inc. to promote Florida agricultural commodities, value-added products, and agricultural-related businesses through in-store promotions, magazines, television and social media advertising with the "Fresh From Florida" logo. The contract term is from the date of execution through June 30, 2024. The estimated dollar amount for this single source procurement is up to $125,000.
The justification for the single source acquisition is that IGA USA, Inc. is the only known vendor able to promote "Fresh From Florida" commodities across multiple stores in national or regional marketing promotions, as the IGA brand allows family-owned, local grocery stores to better compete while maintaining their unique community presence. IGA will provide participating grocery stores with in-store signage, peel-and-stick labels, and execute specific media buys targeted around the selected stores for the promotions.
