About this file

This is a product specification document for Aerostar FP and FP-S Mini-Pleat air filters manufactured by Filtration Group, related to a Texas state and local contract opportunity for filter air cartridges. The document provides comprehensive engineering specifications and performance data for filters available in multiple configurations, including MERV ratings of 11, 14, 15, and 16 for fiberglass media and MERV 11, 14, and 15 for synthetic media. The filters are available in depths of 12 inches only, with nominal sizes ranging from 12x24x12 to 24x24x12 inches, and feature wet-laid micro-fiberglass or gradient density synthetic media with hot melt or string separators. Key design features include high impact plastic frames with preformed locations for filter clips, built-in handles for ease of installation, slopes for moisture drainage, and polyurethane sealing to prevent bypass. The filters are rated for continuous operating temperatures up to 1500°F and have a recommended final resistance of 2.0 inches of water gauge, with initial resistance varying by MERV rating and airflow rate.

The filters are designed for commercial, industrial, healthcare, government, educational, and airport applications, offering maximum flow rates of 750 feet per minute and incorporating sustainable components suitable for LEED and green building initiatives. Available options include side gasketing, metal double header, and full metal wrap configurations. Product data tables detail specific part numbers, weights ranging from 5.0 to 11.0 pounds, and media areas ranging from 63 to 193 square feet depending on filter size and media type. The filters are Underwriters Laboratories classified to UL 900 and manufactured by an ISO 9001 registered company. Performance graphs illustrate initial resistance, final resistance, and minimum removal efficiency across various airflow rates and particle sizes. Contact information for Filtration Group includes phone, fax, website, and email details for inquiries and technical support.
