About this file

The document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Missouri Department of Corrections (DOC) for pest control services at the Missouri Eastern Correctional Center (MECC) in Pacific, Missouri. The solicitation (IFB931Y21708100) seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive pest control services, including bi-monthly treatments (24 times per year), quarterly treatments (4 times per year), and as-needed services (approximately 12 treatments per year). The bid period ran from January 14, 2021, to February 11, 2021, with responses due by 2:00 PM CST. Non-mandatory site tours were available by appointment, requiring four days' advance notice. The initial contract term is one year, with provisions for two additional one-year renewal periods, and services are to be performed at the facility located at 18701 US Highway 66, Pacific, MO 63069.

The solicitation allows all vendors to respond and requires completion of Exhibits A through F, including a detailed pricing page. Payment terms are set at Net 45 days, with invoices to be submitted to the DOC's Fiscal Management Unit. Bids may be submitted electronically through the MissouriBUYS system or as sealed hard copies delivered to the DOC Purchasing Section in Jefferson City. The contract includes provisions for vendors to specify maximum percentage increases or minimum decreases for the two potential renewal periods, calculated against the original contract price. While no specific set-aside designations or incumbent vendor information is provided, the procurement appears open to all qualified vendors, with the expectation of firm, fixed unit prices per service and the ability to effectively manage pest control across the correctional facility's various areas.
