About this file

This file contains required attachments for IFB 159419 issued by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for Asphalt Patching Services in the Appomattox area. The attachments include forms covering State Corporation Commission registration, small business subcontracting plans, vendor qualification/equipment inventory certification, normal and emergency contacts, references, contractor/subcontractor license requirements, and prevailing wage determinations from the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI). The solicitation number is 159419 and covers highway construction work in Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell, and Nelson counties.

The prevailing wage determinations establish required minimum pay rates and fringe benefits for various construction trades and equipment operators, including carpenters, cement masons, electricians, ironworkers, laborers, equipment operators, and truck drivers. The wages range from $12.00 for flaggers to $30.55 plus $11.51 in fringe benefits for electricians. The small business subcontracting plan indicates a Commonwealth goal that over 42% of purchases be made from certified small businesses, including those certified by Virginia's Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD) as women-owned, minority-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses.
