About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Invitation for Bids 40935 issued by the St. Johns River Water Management District for the Purchase of Water Level Pressure Transducers. The addendum, dated January 17, 2025, provides clarification regarding the Silica Desiccant system specified in line items 1C-10C of the bid. The bid submission deadline remains 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the BID FORM provided in the solicitation package.
The addendum specifically clarifies that the Silica Desiccant system is used to dry atmospheric air connected to the transducer through the venting system. While the District has experience with several manufacturers' pressure transducers, each with different systems, the only firm requirement is that the system must use Silica Desiccant. This provides flexibility for vendors while maintaining the essential technical requirement for the desiccant type.
