About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document issued by the Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission for construction services related to a water and sewer extension project in Glynn County, Georgia. The project requires the installation of 3,873 linear feet of 12-inch water main and 943 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main in the north mainland district. The contractor must furnish all necessary skill, labor, materials (except where noted otherwise), tools, equipment, and incidentals required for project completion. The IFB document provides specifications and bidding requirements for qualified utility contractors to submit competitive proposals for this infrastructure expansion project.
The document outlines bidding procedures and evaluation criteria for selecting the qualified contractor to execute the water and sewer main installation. Interested contractors should review the complete IFB-27-001 document for detailed technical specifications, pricing requirements, insurance and bonding obligations, submission conditions, and any applicable deadlines for questions or bid submissions. The project represents critical utility infrastructure development for the region, with the Highway 99 crossing requiring coordination with GDOT and specialized construction expertise to manage the high-traffic roadway interface safely and efficiently.
