About this file
This document appears to be an additional items specification for landscaping services for the City of Leesburg, outlining multiple landscape maintenance requirements. The scope includes procuring 400 cubic yards of Pine Bark mulch to be blown in, with specific traffic management requirements involving an off-duty police officer, traffic detail, and an attenuator truck for lane closures. Additional services include applying pre-emergent herbicide before mulch installation, planting 600 4-inch annuals with ongoing soil amendments and treatments at the Dixie Avenue and 9th Street location, and performing palm tree trimming for 290 total palm trees (250 Sabal and 40 Medjool/Sylvester) on an annual basis.
The specification details require traffic safety protocols for both mulch installation and palm tree trimming, including a mandatory off-duty police officer from the Leesburg Police Department, maintenance of traffic procedures, and a temporary moving lane closure with restricted daytime hours. The document references an attached PDF with hourly rates for these services, indicating potential cost considerations. Contact information for landscaping services is provided via email (james@greenscenelwg.com), suggesting this may be part of a competitive bidding or service procurement process for municipal landscaping maintenance.
