About this file
This Purchasing Memorandum No. 1 is issued by the Office of the New York State Attorney General, addressing an Invitation for Bid (IFB 25-001) for Buffalo NY Audiovisual equipment. The document provides official responses to 12 vendor questions regarding the audiovisual project, with key updates including an extended bid due date to May 27, 2025 at 5:00 PM. The project involves audiovisual equipment installation at the Main Place Tower, Suite 300A, 350 Main Street, Buffalo NY, for a newly re-finished space awaiting AV infrastructure. Bidders are instructed to provide pricing based on specified equipment, with limited flexibility for product substitutions subject to OAG approval.
The memorandum clarifies several technical details, such as confirming no site walkthrough will be conducted, no union requirements exist, and specific equipment modifications are acceptable (e.g., Extron's recommended replacements for discontinued transmitters and receivers). The OAG will not disclose the estimated construction budget, expecting competitive pricing from bidders. The document addresses technical specifics like USB switcher quantities, confirms no ceiling-mounted camera for certain rooms, and provides precise location and equipment specifications. Notably, the bid allows for potential equipment substitutions, but these must be explicitly identified and are subject to OAG discretion for acceptance.
